83rd meridian west
The meridian 83° west of Greenwich is a line of longitude[1]that extends from the North Pole across the Arctic Ocean, North America,[2] the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean Sea, Costa Rica, Panama the Pacific Ocean, the Southern Ocean, and Antarctica to the South Pole.
The 83rd meridian west forms a great circle with the 97th meridian east.
