Metil halid transferaza (EC 2.1.1.165, MCT, metil hloridna transferaza, S-adenozil-L-metionin:halid/bisulfid metiltransferaza, AtHOL1, AtHOL2, AtHOL3, HMT, S-adenozil-L-metionin:metiltransferaza halidnog jona, SAM:halidni jon metiltransferaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom S-adenozilmetionin:jodid metiltransferaza.[1][2][3][4][5][6] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju

S-adenozil-L-metionin + jodid {\displaystyle \rightleftharpoons } S-adenozil-L-homocistein + metil jodid

Ovaj enzim doprinosi metil halidnim emisijama iz Arabidopsis.
