Cardiothorax er en slekt av skyggebiller der de fleste av artene er knyttet til tørre miljøer.

Utseende

Middelsstore, avlange, blanke, mørke skyggebiller. Pronotum er hjerteformet (derav navnet). I motsetning til mange andre Lagriinae er de ikke påfallende hårete. De minner overflatisk om visse løpebiller.

Levevis

Disse billene påtreffes gjerne krypende i vegetasjonen eller på bakken.

Utbredelse

Denne gruppen har et stort artsmangfold langs østkysten i Australia.
