Kobayashi Issa (小林 一茶code: ja is deprecated , 15 Juni 1763 - 5 Januari 1828),[1] adalah seorang penyair dan pendeta Buddha Jōdo Shinshū asal Jepang yang dikenal karena jurnal dan puisi haiku-nya. Ia dikenal dengan panggilan Issa (一茶code: ja is deprecated ), sebuah nama pena yang berarti Cangkir teh[2] (lit. "satu [cangkir] teh").
