Sony Music Publishing
Sony Music Group (SMG) is the umbrella American multinational company that controls Sony's recording and music publishing business outside of Japan, owned and managed by Sony Group Corporation and is one of the world's three largest music companies. It was established on August 1, 2019, with headquarters in New York and an office in Culver City.[1]
It controls the entire music business outside of Japan through its American subsidiaries Sony Music Entertainment and Sony Music Publishing.[2]
Sony Music Group is the second largest music company in the world after Universal Music Group.[3]
