Rona Hartner (9 March 1973 – 23 November 2023) was a German-Romanian actress, painter and singer who was born in Bucharest.[1] As an actress, she was best known for her role in Tony Gatlif's film Gadjo dilo. Hartner focused on her music career, specializing in Gypsy music. After a battle with lung and brain cancer, she died in Toulon on 23 November 2023, at the age of 50.[2][3] She had lived in France for over two decades at the time of her death.[1]
