Maalon is an administrative ward in the Ngorongoro District of the Arusha Region of Tanzania. The ward covers an area of 642.8 km2 (248.2 sq mi),[1] and has an average elevation of 1,978 m (6,490 ft).[2] According to the 2012 census, the ward has a total population of 4.353.[3]
