Linus Patrick Power (born 11 October 1972) is an Australian politician currently serving as the Member of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland for Logan. He is a dedicated member of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) and has held various significant roles within the Queensland Government.[1]

Early life and education

Linus Power was born on 11 October 1972. He pursued higher education at Griffith University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce. He also holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Harvard University. [2]

Career before politics

Before his entry into politics, Power worked as a teacher both domestically and internationally. His extensive experience in the public sector and across education provided him with a solid foundation for his political career.

Political career

Power was first elected to the Queensland Legislative Assembly in 2015, representing the electorate of Logan. He has been re-elected in subsequent elections, demonstrating strong community support and commitment to public service. [3]
