Early life and high school

In high school, Hill was rated as a four-star recruit and the 195th overall player in the class of 2023, holding offers from Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri and Purdue, amongst others.[1][2] Hill committed to play college football for the Michigan Wolverines.[3][4]

He ultimately used the season to redshirt.[5][6] Before the 2024 season, Hill competed for one of the Wolverines starting sports in the secondary with transfer cornerbacks Ricky Johnson and Aamir Hall.[7][8] Hill won the competition and earned his first collegiate start week one versus Fresno State.[9][10]
