Franklin Township is one of eleven townships in Montgomery County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,765 (down from 1,915 at 2010[3]) and it contained 749 housing units.[2]
Franklin Township was established in 1831.[4]
History
Darlington Covered Bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.[5]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 38.93 square miles (100.8 km2), all land.[3]
