Edward John McJannet (born 25 January 2004) is an Irish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Italian Serie C Group B club Ternana on loan from Lecce. Born in England, he is a Republic of Ireland youth international.
Club career
[edit]McJannet joined the youth academy of English side Luton at the age of nine.[2]
On 31 January 2023, McJannet joined the Under-19 squad of the Italian club Lecce.[3] For the 2024–25 Serie A season, he was promoted to the senior squad.[4]
On 28 January 2025, McJannet signed for Serie C club Audace Cerignola on loan until the end of the season.[5][6] On 23 July 2025, McJannet moved on a new Serie C loan to Ternana.[7]
International career
[edit]McJannet has captained the Republic of Ireland national under-19 football team.[8]
