Dorcheh Piaz (Persian: درچه پياز)[a] is a city in the Central District of Khomeyni Shahr County, Isfahan province, Iran.[4]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 43,183 in 12,038 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 44,689 people in 13,888 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 47,800 people in 25,411 households.[2]
Scholars and scientists
Seyyed Mohammad Baqer Dorchehi is a Shia jurist and authority, as well as his brothers Seyyed Mohammad Hossein Dorchehi and Seyyed Mahdi Dorchehi and other scholars from the family of Dorchehi.[7]
